Smart Health Watch Band Block Diagram
- The MAX32664 sensor-hub that enables users to capture raw data, as well as calculate SpO2 and heart-rate data. The firmware includes the drivers and algorithm which are required to interface with a sensor device, such as the MAX86141, through the SPI port, or the MAXM86161 through first I2C port as master. The second I2C interface is slave and dedicated to establishing communication with nRF52840.
- 3-Axis Accelerometer Provides Greater Accuracy and compensates for motion artifacts.
- The optical sensor utilizes green or red and infrared (IR) LEDs to transmit pulses and one or more photodiodes (PD) to collect reflected or residual light. By default, the heart-rate monitoring algorithm uses a green LED and two photodiodes .The SpO2 measurement uses one IR LED and one red LED with one photodiode.
- A controller board housing nRF52840 communicates with the MAX32664C through the I2C bus. The controller board collects data from the sensor hub.
- The received data is processed by the microcontroller. The processed data are transmitted to the AMOLED display.
- Also transmits the processed data via Bluetooth to the Android mobile app.
- A AMOLED Display has been interfaced with nRF52840 MCU through the SPI bus. The AMOLED display is used to display the output readings such as heart rate, SpO2, date, time, battery percentage etc.
